How Auto-Apply works

Step 1 · Daily ingest

At 6am UTC every day, a cron job pulls fresh jobs from 6 public boards: Adzuna (18 countries: US, GB, DE, FR, NL, PL, IN, AE, AU, CA, etc.), Remotive (100% remote), Arbeitnow (EU/Germany), USAJobs (US government), Himalayas (India-friendly remote), We Work Remotely, and RemoteOK. Each run adds ~200-400 new jobs to your feed.

Step 2 · Score & queue

For each new job, we score it 0.0-1.0 against your resume using title overlap (40%), skills overlap (35%), seniority match (15%), location preference (10%), and salary. Jobs above your threshold are queued for review.

Step 3 · Review

You see every match here with its score, source, company, and location. Click Approve to add to your applications tracker, Reject to skip, or View to see the full job description (salary, location, requirements, etc).

Step 4 · Submit (Phase 2)

Phase 1 delivers the matching queue. Phase 2 will add automated cover letter generation (the AI writes a tailored 200-word cover letter) and one-click email submission via Resend. Phase 1 does NOT submit anything automatically.

Sources & limits

Sources cover EU, US, and India-friendly remote roles. India sources (Naukri, Foundit, Cutshort, Instahyre) and UAE/Middle East sources (Bayt, GulfTalent, Naukrigulf) are blocked by anti-bot (Cloudflare/Akamai/DataDome) and are planned for Phase 3 via paid scraper. We do NOT scrape LinkedIn, Indeed, or Naukri's protected pages — that violates their ToS and gets accounts banned.
